About me
I'm a product designer based in Milan, but open to relocating.
10x designer? AI-native designer? Unsure on the label, I just sit somewhere between talking to customers, crafting interfaces, and shipping features to production.
My background spans industrial design, UX, design systems, and now AI-native products. I've worked across research, product strategy, interfaces, and code, and genuinely enjoy moving between them.
Curiosity drives me more than anything else. Right now, my day-to-day is pushing the possibilities AI has opened and exploring how we should interact with it.

Three things define how I collaborate. I build in public, so work goes out early and anyone can weigh in. I make it easy to be honest with me, so the feedback on my work is real rather than polite. And I enable others, so the people around me end up able to do more than they could before. Here's what some of them say about it.
Myroslav Aleksieiev
Frontend Lead, Mint
I'm excited to recommend Matteo. Working with him as the UI Team Lead, I've seen his great skills and leadership. Matteo is awesome at designing systems. He has led important projects and made teamwork easy. He's great at making complex stuff simple for users. He's always positive and hardworking, and talks well with everyone, which is super important. In short, Matteo would be fantastic for your team.
Elena Pezzetta
Product Designer, Mint
I had the chance to work closely with Matteo for more than one year and I'm sure the journey wouldn't be as rewarding, educational and inspiring without him. He's one of the most passionate and dedicated people I know, always strives for improving the quality of the product he's working on and, last but not least, he's extremely reliable and supportive. If you'll ever work with him, chances are he's gonna make you cry laughing during coffee breaks, thanks to his dark humor and meme culture related jokes.
Processes, Inclusion & Facilitation
I've built processes that open the design work up instead of walling it off. Rather than gatekeeping how decisions get made and handing off ready work, I set up ad hoc workflows so anyone, even non-designers like stakeholders or engineers, are encouraged and can follow the thinking and take active part. The work stays visible and the process accessible.
Feedback Loops & Iterations
Feedback is the single thing I trust most to push a product into success, and it can come from anywhere: clients, but just as much the team internally, and not only about design but about processes, workflow, and how we collaborate. So I take the initiative to create moments for it, formal or informal, to really understand what's working and what isn't, and then act on it.
